The Thriving Workplace: Skills for the Future of Work

Building Belonging in the Workplace and Focus, Clarity and Ease for Busy Professionals

Organizational Coaching Programs

From Quiet Quitting ➡ to Engagement

From Striving ➡ to Thriving

From Overwhelm ➡ to Purposeful Action

From Exhaustion ➡ to Vitality

From Frustration ➡ to Compassion

From Rushing ➡ to Flowing

From Tension ➡ to Ease

Create a workplace where employees are committed to living and working easefully, joyfully and effectively.

Increase effectiveness and engagement by providing your teams with powerful mindfulness skills to increase their concentration power, hone their clarity and effective decision-making, and find strength in collaboration and communication.

Ensure employee retention by reducing burnout and inspiring employees to do their best work each and every day.

  • Overwhelmed by the pace and demands of the day
  • Exhausted and starting to burn out
  • Tied to the clock. Always rushing, always falling behind
  • Really tired and drained
  • Feeling constant pressure
  • No longer excited or motivated by their work

  • Over 500,000 Canadians will be absent from work in a given week due to mental reasons. About one million Americans miss work each day because of stress.
  • 1 in 3 Canadians, and 1 in 2 Canadian millennials will experience mental illness in their lifetime.
  • 76% of US workers report that workplace stress affects their personal relationships.
  • On average, mental health issues cost businesses almost $1,500 per employee, per year.
  • The cost of mental illnesses to the Canadian economy is estimated at over $50 billion annually, with $20 billion of that stemming directly from workplace losses.
  • Depression-induced absenteeism costs US businesses $51 billion a year, as well as an additional $26 billion in treatment costs.
  • 21.4% of the working population is experiencing a mental health concern.
  • Mental health conditions make up 30% of short and long-term disability claims, and 80% of payments.

The key question is...

  • How can your workplace become a place where people feel excited and motivated to contribute, able to effectively make decisions, and master navigating today’s fast pace of change and uncertainty with clarity and ease?
  • How do you increase retention and support your key talent in a marketplace with a lot of options? This requires that you support your employees holistically.
  • What does it take for your employees to work and live with ease, flow and joy, connecting deeply with their work, their clients and colleagues, waking up excited about the workday and enjoying the little moments in life as much as the big achievements?

Is this even possible???

✨YES✨

It is possible to have this level of engagement and productivity in today’s workplace.

Mindfulness provides the attention skills of concentration, clarity and balance. These are essential for employees in order to make good decisions, stay engaged and connected to their work, and able to respond effectively in high-pressure, time sensitive situations.

Research has shown that mindfulness significantly improve resilience, productivity, and collaboration at work.

  • Science shows us that we don’t need to spend long periods in silence or stillness for mindfulness to impact our minds and our lives.
  • Using the activities that they are already doing, we build in techniques and strategies to unclutter the mind and create more spaciousness, without much additional time needed.
  • The more employees are able to apply these habits to their life, the more space and ease they will feel, create and find in their workday.

Here are some statistics you can use in decision making discussions on whether investing in employee mental health and wellness is worthwhile:

  • The Return on Investment on workplace Mental Health Programs is $2.18 per $1.00 spent.
  • Over 500,000 Canadians will be absent from work in a given week due to mental reasons.
  • 1 in 3 Canadians, and 1 in 2 Canadian millennials will experience mental illness in their lifetime.
  • About one million Americans miss work each day because of stress.

  • Getting support is an essential element of mindfulness, as others can often see the blind spots we miss, and reflect back to us the value of who we are that we often miss on our own.
  • The techniques and practices that your team will learn through this process are theirs to keep! My aim is to fill their toolbox so that going forward they will know what they need to practice when, and the need for guidance and support will decrease over time.

  • This is the most common challenge that people come to me with!
  • We often think the goal of yoga or meditation is to have a pleasant or positive experience, or to “quiet” the mind. Yoga and mindfulness are actually about building Attention Skills.
  • Just like going to the gym is not always easy, but if we lift weights we will invariably get stronger, when we practice mindfulness it may feel confusing or hard, but the practice itself will invariably bring benefits and results including focus, resilience, energy, clarity and joy.
  • Together we will find the right structures and techniques that will make the practice accessible and enjoyable for your team.

While it would be nice to have free time to practice and get away from our responsibilities, the beauty of this practice is that we can actually bring it to our busy days!

Together we will turn walls into windows and find ways to incorporate all your team’s obligations into their mindfulness practice.

Whatever your work presents, we will find a way to make mindfulness work for you.
